YYC Flea June Event Postponed as Organizers Finalize Permanent Summer Venue Plans
Calgary, AB — June 2026 — The June edition of YYC Flea has been postponed as organizers continue to finalize plans for a permanent summer venue that will support the long-term growth of Calgary's newest community marketplace.
Since its launch, YYC Flea has focused on creating a unique destination that brings together local makers, vintage vendors, artisans, collectors, and food experiences in an energetic and welcoming environment. While the event has successfully established its winter home at The Quonset at Crossroads Market, organizers are continuing their search for the ideal indoor summer venue before proceeding with future market dates.
"The Quonset at Crossroads Market will remain the home of YYC Flea throughout our winter season," said Jennifer Rempel, Founder and Executive Producer of Vibrant City Events. "As we look ahead, we're taking the time to secure the right indoor summer venue that aligns with our vision and allows us to continue growing the market in a meaningful way."
Rather than move forward with a temporary solution, organizers have chosen to postpone the June market while discussions continue with several potential venue partners. The goal is to establish a consistent summer home that provides an exceptional experience for vendors and visitors alike.
The YYC Flea team expects to announce a new summer venue and future event dates in the coming weeks. Registered vendors will be contacted directly with updated information as plans are finalized.
Organizers would like to thank vendors, shoppers, and supporters for their patience and continued enthusiasm. The response to YYC Flea has been overwhelmingly positive, and the team remains committed to building a year-round marketplace that celebrates local entrepreneurship, creativity, and community.
