About Us

About The YYC Flea

The YYC Flea is a curated monthly market produced by an experienced event production team with a long track record of designing, producing, and operating public events across Calgary.

Behind YYC Flea is a group of professionals who understand that great markets don’t just happen—they’re carefully planned, thoughtfully curated, and expertly executed. From site design and vendor selection to logistics, safety, and on-site operations, every detail of The YYC Flea is intentional.

YYC Flea is not an open-call free-for-all. Vendors are curated to ensure a strong and balanced mix of vintage, handmade, up-cycled, and specialty goods—creating a market that feels cohesive, well-paced, and worth returning to month after month.

We believe the best events balance creativity with strong operations. The YYC Flea is where thoughtful production meets great finds—once a month, inside an iconic Calgary space.

Events We Produce

Our team produces a diverse range of public events across Calgary, from intimate indoor markets to large-scale outdoor festivals. Each event is designed with a strong focus on audience experience, vendor success, and seamless operations.

Our work includes producing major food-focused and cultural events such as Taste of Calgary, a multi-day festival requiring complex vendor operations, staging, and site logistics.

We also produce recurring market-based events, including the Inglewood Night Market and 4th Street Night Market, both designed to support local businesses, activate urban corridors, and create consistent, return-worthy experiences for vendors and visitors alike.

Our portfolio includes long-standing community festivals such as the 4th Street Lilac Festival, one of Calgary’s most established street festivals, produced with full road closures, extensive vendor footprints, multiple stages, and detailed operational planning, as well as Inglewood Sunfest, a community-focused event blending live music, local vendors, family programming, and placemaking.

In addition to outdoor festivals and markets, we produce live music and culture programming such as Quonset Sessions, a performance series staged inside the Quonset at Crossroads Market, along with seasonal pop-up markets and pilot activations that test new concepts in unconventional spaces.

Across every event we produce, the approach remains the same: strong curation, clear operations, professional production, and an experience that works for everyone involved—from vendors and artists to audiences, venues, and partners.
